Jared Heiner, M.D. studied music at Brigham Young University and graduated magna cum laude in 1997.  He received his M.D. from UC San Diego in 2001 and then completed his urology residency at the Medical College of Georgia.  Since 2006 he has practiced urology in the Treasure Valley and has a special interest in the treatment of prostate cancer and benign conditions of the prostate.

Dr. Heiner stays abreast of current treatments by reading journal articles and evaluating and sometimes adopting novel therapies.  He was the first in the Treasure Valley to perform and incorporate Rezum prostate therapy and the first in Idaho to perform the SpaceOAR procedure for prostate cancer patients undergoing radiation.  He is the only local urologist currently certified to perform prostate cryotherapy and he performs Da Vinci robotic prostatectomies for prostate cancer.

He believes in volunteerism and has volunteered in Mexico and also in Ethiopia where he repaired vesicovaginal fistulae and taught local surgeons how to perform the TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate) operation.

When he comes home from work he is greeted by four wonderful children, a black lab mix adopted from the Humane Society, and his wonderful wife and companion of more than 20 years!  He wishes he had more free time for playing soccer with his children, camping, running, flying airplanes, and seeking out other adventures.

Joseph Neumeyer, PA-C graduated from Santa Clara University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering as well as minors in mathematics and chemistry. His interest in the medical field and urology began as an undergraduate engineering student, where he and classmates directed their research toward using smartphones to conduct urinalysis prenatal screening in medically underserved communities.

Joe continued his education at Idaho State University, where he graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2022. He obtained his physician assistant certification and Idaho State Physician Assistant License in early 2023 and has been practicing urology since this time. Within the broad field of urology, Joe takes particular interest in Men’s Health and is continuously educating himself on the most recent advancements, therapies, and guidelines regarding Men’s Health, including prostate cancer treatment and screening, benign prostatic hypertrophy, erectile dysfunction, and hypogonadism management.

As a native Idahoan, he is thankful for the opportunity to serve the community that helped raise him. Joe enjoys skiing, camping, carpentry, and keeping his two hound dogs, Dunkin and Gryffin, out of trouble.

Hello, My name is Cynthia Madeira. I moved to Boise, ID in 1997 with my high school sweetheart and our two boys. We relocated  from southern CA to provide a better upbringing for them. I am now blessed with two beautiful grandchildren. Being empty nesters, we decided to adopt a puppy that needed some special care and attention. Her name is ‘Bear’. She is a deaf, dwarf, great pyrenees. She is so sweet and very playful. Even though she loves to chew (on everything) we are very grateful of our decision to provide her a loving home. When we’re not playing at home, we’re playing in the mountains, where we camp and take the Razor out on adventures. Bear loves it too!

I began my medical journey in 2001. I attended The American Institute of Health Technology and graduated with a diploma in Medical Assisting. Now after more than 20 years, I have discovered my passion in the healthcare field.  I enjoy interacting with our patients and strive to make it a welcoming environment. I find it very rewarding in helping our patients surpass some obstacles that may slow the usual scheduling processes. You’ll find me at the front desk with a welcoming smile and a sunny disposition. I will schedule your appointments, surgeries, order imaging and even draw your blood.
