This is a gland in the male urinary and reproductive tract. With time it enlarges and causes trouble with urination. This may need to be treated with medications or procedures to open the prostate up and allow the urine to flow better.
Prostate Cancer
This is a disease of the prostate which, if left unchecked, can threaten a patient’s health or even their life. Sometimes it can be discovered early through a finger-wave exam of the rectum or a prostate blood test called the PSA. Ultimately it can only be diagnosed with a prostate biopsy.
